Introduction and Purpose

The following document explains how to use Blackboard Collaborate Ultra (hereafter referred to as “Collaborate”). Collaborate can be used in any course delivery method (traditional, blended, hybrid, online, etc.). Course Sections 750-799 requires the use of Collaborate to conduct scheduled synchronous online meetings with students. Other uses of Collaborate may include student office hours, advising, tutoring, etc.

Using Collaborate

Read the Collaborate tutorial. You may be asked to login using your TechID.
You must be instructor in both courses and both must exist on the current Blackboard server. We highly recommend that you do not print or save this document because it may be updated from time to time, based on user feedback or changes to this function in Blackboard. Please return to this page to check for updates if you need to refer to Course Copy documentation.
