The course copy process is being transitioned from the CTL to the faculty for the 2018 Spring semester. This means that faculty will now copy their courses for the new semester.
Faculty members or programs chairs will have to be listed in both courses to copy a course. The assigned instructor should be the only instructor enrolled in a course. All others needing access to courses should be added as course observers.
- Program chairs can request course observer to the courses they are responsible for, which will allow them to copy courses that fall under their purview.
- The program chairs request the individual instructor be given course observer access to the source course (course to copy).
- NOTE: Course observers have editing permissions in any course where they are enrolled in the course a course observer.
- All course observer request should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are aware that certain circumstances may require us to support the process on a case by case basis. The CTL is here to support faculty as we move forward in this transition in the course copy process. The Collaboratory, OGC 2343, is open from 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday – Thursday and Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Faculty may also call 757-3716 to speak to someone or drop by the Ed-Tech Corner, OGC 2351, or the Collaboratory, OGC 2343 to get assistance.
